Description
Lettuce Heatwave Blend as the name suggest is a real heat fighter! As most of lettuce varieties grows best in cooler temperatures, but the difference with heatwave blend is that it is super heat-resistant, it keeps its sweet flavor under summer’s heat and continues to produce well. So this variety is ok to be started later at early summer and prolong your harvesting period. It produces green-red curly and crispy leaves, and it’s super-slow to bolting. Grows well to containers and can reach to 15-18 Inch ( 45cm) tall.
Culinary uses
Use its sweet, tender leaves for salads and sandwiches. Wash thoroughly before eating.
