Name & History
A great find from our Dutch growers, yaya carrot got its name from the work “giagia” which means grandma. We don’t know exactly how the Dutch connect this magnificent variety with this word, but our guess would be grandmas healthy snack!
Description
This exceptional variety is produces very sweet bright orange yields with super tender flesh and it looks like a Nantes carrot! It has all the great characteristics a carrot can have, like it stores well in winter, it performs all year around, it is disease free ,and it tastes delicious.
Culinary uses
Use it roasted in your food or raw in your salad or sandwich. Its also a great variety for pickling and canning. It will sweeten everything you put it with!
